Don’t Understand How Hypnosis Works
Hypnotherapy is said to talk straight to your subconscious mind, 4% of our actions. So what that means is that our daily habits about waking up and getting and drinking whatever we drink all happen because of our subconscious mind.
And so when we want to set a goal and lose weight or go to the gym, it can be difficult if our subconscious mind is not on board. You won’t achieve that goal because your subconscious mind has something in there that’s protecting you from doing it.
It thinks that maybe working out will cause you pain, or you’ve programmed it somehow in the past that it’s not good for you, that it’s gonna hurt, but you want to be able to enjoy life.
So, what you need to do is get your subconscious mind on board, and the way that you do that is through hypnosis. So, hypnosis is like a guided meditation.
A lot of people think that hypnosis is like trickery of the mind. They think they will be out of control, but that’s not true. I don’t know if you were like me. Most peoples introduction to hypnosis is at a stage show and they don’t understand how hypnosis works. So hypnosis is when you get into a very relaxed state, and you can accept suggestions that are said to you. So what happens is we have a critical line.
Think of it as a gate. So when I tell you something, you being awake and aware, you are like, that’s not true. That’s not happening. And you evaluate?
It’s a critical factor, faculty, and you evaluate what I’m saying because you are a critical thinker; that’s normal. But when you get into a relaxed state of hypnosis, you relax your mind, that gate kind of just opens up, and you can take in suggestions that help you create the life you want.
So you can take in these suggestions like you are confident. You enjoy working out. You are capable, and you’re creative, and you’re healthy, and you’re energetic. And when I say those things, and you’re in a relaxed state, you can just be like, yes, yes, feed my mind, all of these good things versus, if I were to say them to you right now when you’re awake, you’d be like, well, am I healthy?
Am I healthy? Am I? You know, you will; you can ask yourself those questions and either accept or reject those suggestions. So the way that hypnosis works, if you’re a therapist, if you’re a counsellor, or a or any kind of therapist, the way that hypnosis works is that let’s say you are therapist, if you’re traditional therapist, you’re helping your clients get them fit, get them strong, you can use hypnosis to train their subconscious mind to get them on board with all of the work that you’re doing with working out and with meal planning and all of those things, and you will be able to see exponential results by also utilising the subconscious mind and utilising hypnotherapy.
Let’s say you are a therapist who wants to help your clients. You want to help your clients market themselves, but let’s say they have visibility issues, they’re scared about going on Facebook, or they’re scared about sharing their message and speaking up in public; you can use hypnosis to retrain their brain and offer suggestions that make it easier for them to show up, show up confidently to speak professionally about their message.
So these are just some ways in which you can use hypnosis, but you can use hypnosis to relax, to get over any anxiety issues or, you know, feelings that you have. You can use hypnosis in so many different ways.
Confidence is a very common thing right now. Just get out of fear and step into who you want to be. Something is blocking you from stepping forward or moving towards what you want to believe.
So whatever, whether it’s a limiting belief if you know that limiting belief, you can overcome it with hypnosis. And it doesn’t take a long time to do. The great thing is that you can make moves to create these amazing relationships with the people that you love.
You can get past the past things that are holding you back and keeping you from playing; you are small. You can expand yourself because that’s what it is. It’s this inner belief that you have that you grew up with that was set because you are trying to protect yourself as a child.
What you do, you can step into your highest self and feel great about who you are, the people you serve and how you serve them, and so many good things come from it; so, I want to encourage you to take hypnosis and learn hypnotherapy to get hypnotised.
