About Helen Parker
I’m passionate about helping people to realise their potential by tapping into the power of their minds. I believe that we fundamentally know exactly who and what we are and life is about chipping away at the pieces that stick to us so we can become more ourselves, more of the time.
In 2014, I had a life-changing brain surgery that ignited a passion for neuroscience and the power of the subconscious mind. I subsequently left her 20-year high-powered corporate career to re-train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I come alive when empowering people to connect to their inner confidence and live their lives on their terms. I’ve been the enabler of positive change in hundreds of people’s lives through blending neuroscience, deep listening with witch-like six senses and no-nonsense tools and techniques that create results, quickly.
I’m a successful entrepreneur who co-founded a Rio-based travel agency that gives anyone the chance to perform on a float in the Carnival and become their own muse. I also offer my professional skills to organisations and businesses through the creation of leadership development programmes and training courses. I’m a big believer that knowledge isn’t knowledge until you’ve applied it, so I’ll be empowering you to start practising as soon as possible whilst on the course. This is a practical course where you can start to earn back your investment nearly straight away.
I’m thrilled to be joining Inspiraology as the Senior Lecturer for Leeds and Bradford. I moved to the beautiful Wharfedale Valley after 20 years in London, where I live with my 7-year-old daughter and Goldendoodle. I’m a very proud Northerner and love to laugh so by joining this course you can expect to learn about yourself, the brain, why people are like they are and have a lot of laughs.

You will be invited to an interview where you will meet a member of the team and have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for the course.

Laura is an extremely knowledgeable and engaging course leader and it's obvious that she has been a School Teacher for many years. Her sessions are always great fun and yet I always feel like I have learnt so much! I really enjoyed the variety of teaching and learning activities, finding the interactive group work particularly useful. The ongoing support through supervision is great and I'm always learning more about a wide variety of therapeutic methods and the science behind it all. Matthew Cahill and his team provide a first-class intensive course at Finsbury Circus in London. Over the 10 months we were made to actively participate and practice a therapist's skills, so that by the end we felt completely confident and ready for practising. There was fanatastic backup and communication between sessions, with questions always comprehensively and promptly answered. All aspects were covered including marketing, the therapeutic relationship, ethical practices, as well as the techniques themselves. For all the tuition and support we got it was excellent value.We were taught that a session of hypnotherapy should be the highlight of the client's week.
