Why Are We One Of The Best Hypnotherapy Training Courses In London?
We are one of the best hypnotherapy training courses in London because we are the only school that can offer you an ultimate diploma in hypnotherapy. We give 100% to all of our students. We don’t hold back on anything.
You know, because we are professional hypnotherapists and we have our practice, we use hypnotherapy every single day, so for us it is, it’s our work, and as a result of that, we’re not scared of hypnosis, it’s something that we do, and if we’re having a struggle or a difficulty in helping a client to experience hypnosis it’s no big deal for us because we have so many different techniques that we can use.
You know, Milton Erickson once described being a hypnotherapist as somebody who has a very large number of keys. We may only sometimes pick the correct key that will unlock our client’s mind immediately, but that doesn’t matter because we know that we have a very big bunch of keys and that one will open the client’s mind.
Today, I’d like to share with you one of the essential keys that a lot of hypnotherapists neglect to use in their daily practice. You know, when you invite a client to experience hypnosis and ask them to sit back in your beautiful soft reclining chair, it’s very easy to opt out and get the hypnosis going by suggesting that they close their eyes. Still, that lacks a certain amount of elegance.
Using this technique is far more elegant and sophisticated. I’m not going to go on about what it is. Instead, I’m going to write it right now to you. So, all you have to do right now is follow the text with your eyes.
And as you do, you’ll begin to notice some changes are taking place. You’ll first see that your attention is drawn towards your breathing, and your breathing begins to relax. And soon, you’ll begin to notice that you develop the need to swallow as all the muscles around your throat, your teeth and your gums relax.
So very tired, and all the while, your breath is becoming softer and more relaxed until soon that feeling of heaviness in your eyes is so very strong that your eyes just close down and rest in the gentle darkness and wide awake now and back here with me, as you can see it’s a far more elegant way to introduce hypnosis to your client.
Now, there’s an excellent reason for using relaxation. You see, each of us has our natural suggestibility, and I’m suggesting things to you just before they happen, so it consists of three particular suggestions.
The first thing I’m saying to you is to follow the pendulum’s movement, yes, and in a moment number one, your attention will be drawn towards your breathing. That’s going to happen now that I’ve said it, but then I say your breathing is beginning to relax or to soften and relax.
The next thing I’ll do is I’ll tell you that you will develop the need to swallow as all the muscles around your throat, your teeth, your gums, and your lips relax, and of course, now that I’ve drawn attention towards it, that too is going to happen. Then I’m suggesting to you that your eyes are beginning to grow more tired and heavier, but what’s really key about that is that I’m asking you to follow the pendulum movement, which is moving back and forth.
This means, of course, your eyes are also moving from side to side, and as you probably know from watching somebody sleep at that point, you are mimicking a rapid eye movement of deep sleep. So you see, we have now created several different suggestions, and how we have stacked them together means that we have amplified your natural suggestibility.
So, by the time I give you the first suggestion, once your eyes are closed, we have amplified your suggestibility to hypnosis, which means we can’t go wrong. We already have you primed and ready to receive hypnotic suggestions.
Anyway, that’s just one of the things that we teach here at Inspiraology Hypnotherapy Training (IHT) . It’s just one of the techniques we teach on the ultimate results diploma course in London. And hopefully, it’s just one of the reasons why we are one of the best hypnotherapy training courses in London.
